Every piece of natural stone is unique. The veining and colour movement differ from one piece to the next because they formed in the mountain over millions of years, so what arrives will match the photograph in character and differ from it in the detail of the veins — that is the nature of the material, not a fault in it. If you would like to see the colour for yourself first, you can order a sample.

To care for it: wipe with a soft cloth and warm water and dry it straight away, and avoid vinegar, lemon and any acidic cleaner entirely — they leave a permanent dull mark on stone. Blot spills as soon as they happen, and use a trivet under hot dishes.
