Delivery and installation to every Egyptian governorate, packed as something both heavy and fragile deserves.
Why shipping stone is different
Marble is heavy and breaks from impact rather than pressure. A 180 × 90 cm dining top at 3 cm passes 120 kg, and will still crack from a knock on the edge. That is why we do not ship stone the way ordinary furniture is shipped.
How it is packed
Each piece is wrapped in foam over the face and the edges — the edges especially, since they are what gets hit first — then boxed in reinforced board. Large pieces are fixed to a wooden base that stops them moving inside the vehicle.
Installation
Pieces made of a separate top and base are installed in place by our team: levelling the base, setting the top true, and checking the piece is stable before leaving. A table that is not level is not only a cosmetic problem — an unbalanced load on stone means pressure concentrated at one point.
Cost and timing
Delivery cost depends on the governorate and is shown in full at checkout before you confirm. Nothing is added after the purchase.
Cairo, Giza and Qalyubia are the quickest, then the Delta and the canal cities, then Upper Egypt, the coast and Sinai. The expected time for each governorate appears beside its delivery price when you select it.
On arrival
Inspect the piece before signing for it. Cash on delivery is available, so you need not pay before seeing what arrived.
