FAQ
What our customers ask most, gathered in one place.
General
What is the difference between natural and engineered marble?
Natural marble is quarried stone: every piece carries veining and colour that no other piece repeats, and that is where its value comes from. Engineered marble is made from stone powder and resin, so it comes out uniform and repeatable.
We work in natural stone, which is why the veining you receive will differ from the photograph — that is the character of the material, not a flaw.
Will the piece I receive differ from the photo?
In the veining and colour movement, yes — every block of natural stone is unique. The shape, the dimensions and the finish are the same.
If you want to see the colour with your own eyes first, order a sample and we will send one.
Do you have a showroom I can visit?
Yes. The address and opening hours are on the contact page. We suggest getting in touch first so we can have the pieces you are interested in ready for you.
Choosing and buying
How do I choose the right stone for my space?
Start from three things: the light in the room, the colour of the surrounding floor or furniture, and how heavily the piece will be used day to day.
- Small or dimly lit spaces improve a great deal with a lighter stone.
- Blacks and greens carry visual weight and want more space and light around them.
- The heavier the daily use, the more a honed finish beats a polished one, because it hides marks.
If you would like advice, ask us to call and we will help you choose.
Can I get a sample before buying?
Yes, and we genuinely recommend it before any large order. Screens shift colour, and stone looks entirely different in the light of your own home.
Order a sample here and pick the stone you are interested in.
Do you make bespoke sizes or designs?
Yes. Send us the size and the stone you want — with a reference photo if you have one — through the bespoke order page, and we will come back with a price and a timescale.
Are the listed prices final?
The listed price is for the piece exactly as described. Delivery is added according to your governorate and is shown at checkout before you confirm.
Any change to size or finish is quoted separately.
How much does a marble table cost?
Our pieces start at 3,000 EGP for lamps and décor objects and reach 30,000 EGP for larger pieces. Every price is shown on the piece's own page — we do not ask you to message us for it. The difference comes from the stone, the size and the base, explained in full in our marble table price guide.
Why do I see marble tables for a tenth of the price elsewhere?
Because they are usually not natural stone. Engineered marble or printed board looks similar in a photo and is completely different in lifespan, texture and weight. The clearest sign: natural marble never repeats its veining between pieces, so two identical-looking pieces are not natural. We sell natural stone only, and you can request a sample to check for yourself before buying.
Can you make a table to a specific size?
Yes. You send the measurement and a photo of the room if you can; we help you choose the stone that suits the use, then make the piece and install it ourselves. If your measurement is close to one of the ready sizes we will tell you plainly, because the ready piece is then faster and cheaper. Custom work is worth it when the space is unusual, when you want a particular stone, or when a piece has to match something you already own.
Delivery
How much is delivery?
It depends on your governorate, because stone is heavy and moving it does not cost the same everywhere. Choose your governorate at checkout and the price and delivery window appear immediately, before you confirm.
Do you deliver to every governorate in Egypt?
Yes, we reach every governorate. The time differs between Cairo and the further governorates, and the expected window is shown when you pick your governorate at checkout.
How do I track my order?
From the order tracking page using your order reference and phone number. You will also get an automatic email at every change of status if you left us your email address.
How is the piece protected in transit?
Every piece is wrapped in protective layers and secured inside a crate, and it is moved by a team used to handling stone.
If a piece arrives damaged in transit, contact us as soon as you receive it with photographs — that is on us.
What does delivery cost, and who delivers?
Delivery starts at 250 EGP for Cairo, Giza and Qalyubia and reaches 700 EGP for distant governorates; the exact cost appears at checkout before you confirm, not after. We deliver and install the piece ourselves — we never hand it to a courier, because most damage to stone happens in transit or during fitting.
Installation
Do you install?
Installation is available for a number of pieces, and it is stated on the product page itself. If it is not mentioned, get in touch and we will tell you whether it is available in your area.
How long does supply take?
Ready pieces ship within the window shown on the product page. Bespoke pieces and made-to-measure sizes take longer, and we give you an exact timescale with the quotation.
Care and maintenance
How do I clean marble without damaging it?
One rule covers most of it: no acids. Vinegar, lemon juice and acidic bathroom cleaners etch the surface and leave a dull mark that wiping will not remove.
- Clean with a soft cloth and warm water, with a pH-neutral soap when needed.
- Dry the surface straight afterwards.
- Wipe up spills immediately, coffee, wine and juice above all.
Does marble need periodic sealing or polishing?
Marble is porous, and a sealer reduces how much liquid it absorbs and makes it easier to clean. How often depends on use — a heavily used surface needs it far more than a decorative piece.
Polishing is not a routine requirement; it is what you turn to after long use has dulled the surface.
There is a stain on my marble, what do I do?
Do not reach for an acidic cleaner or an abrasive pad — both make it worse.
Oily stains respond to an absorbent poultice left on the mark and then removed. Deep stains and acid etching need specialist attention. Send us a photograph and we will tell you what to do before you try something that makes it worse.
Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash on delivery is available on every order. Where online payment is enabled, you will also find a card option at checkout.
Is my payment data safe?
Card details never pass through our site and are never stored by us — they are entered directly on the secure payment gateway's own page. We keep only the order information needed to fulfil and deliver it.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, before preparation or shipping has started — contact us as soon as you can with your order reference. Once it has shipped, changes are harder, but get in touch anyway and we will see what can be done.
